@Andyc18 - It's a fun game, sort of a real-time scrolling roguelike. Its simplicity is a plus IMHO.

Loved this game. You never die as long as you have a sword - the 50% chance for battles only applies if you fight a mazog without a sword. It's more difficult on the harder difficulties when the mazogs can move through the maze and you're carrying the treasure.

@UKRetroGames I'll be going back over all the games in my early videos eventually, but not till I've gone through all the ones I haven't shown yet... which is... well... one or two :D

I've not seen many ZX81 games, but I know this form of large graphics was not often used; usually they took the form of 'your man is a hash symbol' and you have to fire at the aliens (asterisks) and so on... This was programmed by Don Priestley, who went on to do Trapdoor on the Spectrum, by the way.

I had this game for my ZX81... loved it!

This game looks very simple but fun, I was born in 88 so this was before my time but it does look like a fun game.

Looks really good for a ZX 81 game!

The running animation looks quite cool, head first and fast.
Is this cartridge or tape?

It's tape. The ZX81 doesn't have a cartridge port.
