Flynn connected with Hester who dove for the corner of the endzone along the east sideline for an apparent touchdown. But, the play was reviewed while a flag lay on the field at the 5-yard line. After a lengthy review, the referee announced there was no penalty and the call on the field of a touchdown was confirmed, finally giving the crowd a chance to erupt and finally giving LSU the lead

  • @teeftaller7 rest assured the play was a touchdown but it shouldn't have counted because they threw a flag for illegal formation but said nothing about it until AFTER they reviewed the play.

  • I swear this play just pisses me off everytime....I'm not one to blame officials for a loss but DAMN!!!!!..

  • As a wide out you dont half to be exactly on the line. Im always about a half yard off and i never cost us a penalty for it. Not uet at least

  • 6 men on the line...nice and also the flag is picked up after the TD and the sideline official's hand was not in the air (which indicates full 7 on the line)

  • @teeftaller7 Yes, it was.

  • Always love to see auburn get smacked!

  • That was not a touchdown.

  • The offensive linemen's feet don't matter in this situation..it's where their hands are that matters..and as u can see..their hands are clearly on the LOS..and the WR's foot is on the 6 1/2 to 7 yrd line...so he's of the line...the odd thing about this is that the ref over turns the penalty...but it's AFTER the review...and that's illegal

  • what is weird is that when the ref waves he flag he puts it completly in his pants, whats the reasoning behind this, it goes in his back pocket

  • I am an Auburn fan... and it doesn't look that bad to me... and the fact is, that WR, whether he would have been perfectly on the line or not, did not effect the play. Good game LSU. Always a battle with you guys.
