this "nut job" died from a gun shot wound during a duel in weehawken. he was shot by aaron burr, jefferson's VP.

alexander hamilton could be described as the founding father of our economy. he was a great man who came from impoverished origins. john adams referred to him as, "the bastard son of a scottish peddler." like the rest of the founding fathers he was a self made man. i would hardly refer to him as a "nut case."
