People say this 'Different Hemisphere' thing all the time. the way the water goes is mainly because of the toilet's shape. The 'Different Hemisphere' theory is right, but it only affects Tornados, so a American Tornado is gonna spin the opposite was a Australian Tornado.

Cause you are south of the equator ...Go to ecuador there is a basin right on the equator and the water goes straight down without swirling clockwise or counterclockwise
