Once a year, I go to LASO in Plainfield HS to educate and empower them. I talk about my experience of how I came to USA as an immigrant and how I overcame the challenges of growing up in Newark, NJ.

They invited me to their talent show this year, and I was excited because they did a great job! I was proud of them and how they put all this together with the help of Doris Sera, their Spanish Teacher and Mentor and head of L.A.S.O. at Plainfield HS. When you put these events together, there are a lot more people to thank....Ms. Miguelina Landisi, the Parents, Students, Teachers, Security Guards and you can't forget the main person, the Principal!
