The Indian PM kept on talking about obama for the first half of the youtube.....is this necessary? Democracy isuseless when hundreds million of your populations are thinking when is the next meal going to be.

@Deepsand101 keeping country together accelerating economy is more important than a good orator like obama however not so good manager of economy

It's funny because you do have to create cohesive sentences to be a good orator.
You can't just say:
I have happy to live here with President, the distinguished.
I'm honored to spend the festival Diwali and the State Dinner with the distinguised President. etc.. etc...

@Parishrut2 Perhaps his ability to make speeches in English might not be too great, but if you look it up, he was a distinguished scholar at both Cambridge and Oxford, so he's likely better at writing in English.
