  • It's funny that a man would call someone delusional when he himself believes in creatitionism. And to tell someone else on a panel he is on to "shut up"? He is no gentleman. What an idiot and what an asshole.

  • Pat Buchanan is a stone racist, and has never tried to hide it, the fact that he thinks black men have magical privileges is way less than shocking.

  • @Hollywoodsteve How is buchanan delusional for believing in creationism? There isn't evidence either way to explain why we are here so how is creationism more delusional than evolution? Buchanan is a brilliant man who's comments went way over these ladies heads and obviously yours too.

  • Where is this commentator's outrage when Rev. Sharpton, Rev. Wright, Lou Farrakhan, et al...make similiar (and worse) public comments. What set this explosion off in the liberal circles is they all know what Ferraro says is true....they just can't handle the truth.

  • I love it Pat i would have used a much worst word than shut up to that bitch who basically tells nothing

  • Ferraro really wasn't any kind of feminist hero. She overestimates her both historical value and significance.

Pat is 100% racist, and proves it here. Rachel kicked his ass for his bullshit.

  • all I can say is "wow". pat buchanan never ceases to amaze people of his ignorance

  • The whole idea behind Affirmative Action is to include women and minorities in the conversation, which had, in the past, been often dominated by white males.

    Point blank.

AA doesn't give the job the people, you seem to believe, who are unqualified (non-white).

The goal of AA is to put women/minorities into a conversation that, under other situations, would never happened.

Like I've said before, if the qualifications are similar, why shouldn't the woman/minority get the job?

    simple shit

  • lol, you've got to to be kidding me.

In a country where people are still "hanging" effigies of a person, for a reason that often traces back to their race, do you really want to debate this point?

I honestly hope that you're not trying to play it like you and your family or holier than holy.

And I bet you don't even understand the idea behind Affirmative Action!

  • I had nothing to do with racism of the past, neither did my father, my grandfather and my grandfathers father. You people use MLK as a moral compass, except we are the ones who follow his teachings, NOT you! We based a persons merit on the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. As a business owner I base hiring on a qualification and experience, NOT skin color! Isn't giving someone preferential treatment for a job based the color of their skin.......RACIST??

  • Your white nationalist beliefs, I refuse to call you a racist, makes sure that this simple logic assessment doesn't "stick" in your mind, and its really sad.

The worst part about the whole thing is that you refuse to believe or see, even the possibility that racism is still occurring in this country.

  • If a black person, PhD from the University of Southern California, a woman, PhD from The Ohio State University, and a white male, PhD from the University of Oregon, why shouldn't there be a slant toward the woman/black person.

The key hole in your entire logic lays when, without Affirmative Action, a white male, with a degree from Chico State University, was being hired over the black person/woman, with the degree from the University of California, at Berkeley.
