DJ .Kota - the Istana Live (Beware of Needles #4)

This is a monthly performance series by DJ .Kota. This 4th performance features his new song "Istana Music." At this month, he doesn't show you his deejay mix performance, but his electronic-style live showcase of his own song for 10min. Inspired from gamelan music and some other Asian percussive music, he tries to adjust them for electro / house context. Originally intended for a commercial film of Dokkyo University in late 2008.
DJ .Kota plays acid bass on pluggo (controlling by KORG Zero4), synths, and CDJ noises along with pre-programmed sound from ableton. Including several cut-ups from dance hits.
