If feminists take credit for domestic violence shelters, they should also accept the blame for the discriminatory & exclusionary nature of these shelters. If feminists take credit for raising awareness about female victims of DV, then they should be ready to accept the blame for misleading the public regarding the extent and severity of DV against husbands and boyfriends. Belittling, ridiculing, minimizing and burying the suffering of male victims is not a harmless act.

False. The most famous study (Strauss et al 1980) said a woman is assaulted by her spouse every 16 seconds, but also said that men are victims every 19 seconds. Statistics Canada reports in 2000 that 1 in 8 men have been victims of criminal domestic violence in the past 5 years and that number is 1 in 7 for women. Police, shelters and justice system are hostile to male victims, so very few men file charges. Feminists choose to ignore unbiased studies, but rely on police records.

@ConservativeTimes Less than five percent is male on female violence? What? I can't believe that people are spreading these ridiculous and outlandish lies. It's more like exactly the reverse. Look up the video "Women are More Violent Than Men?" She will show you the statistics the prove that prove that be way off the mark. But I get the feeling that truth is not what you're interested in. Instead, you're only interested in spreading lies in order to maintain male dominance.

If you cared about all victims of domestic violence, you would re-write this stuff in gender-neutral terms. If you just hate men, then you will leave it as it is.

The divorce industry is the second largest industry for government related jobs. All of those social workers and psyche people employed with that gauranteed salary and benefit package. I'm sure they like the idea of Male bashing, it's keeps their security thriving. Biden and Obama are busy making more of these jobs, and I'm sure they will push the continued bashing of the male and prop up tinkerbelle as Goddess, it buys many many votes.
