actually his mask is supposed to be mirrored so that the people he's facing see themselves projected onto his face, (it was just drawn as silver when they didn't want to show the reflection), I've been in some online discussions with the guy who designed the mask that G4 Cobra Commander wears (he also has a lot of other prop GI joe helmets for sale) and the mask is a mirror like it's supposed to be... but this is what that ends up looking like when it's filmed on a set.
