If you rode you would understand. You can hear and see the traffic better on a bike, and yes many of us do run the stop signs, but it is done when there seems no reason to stop. The law was created out of the need to prevent a collision, and if we all had the same depth preception and judgement it would not be needed. But the intent of the stop sign law is still being adhered to by cyclist, at least the ones that do not get run over running stop signs.
No need to generalize, some of us do, I always follow stop signs to the letter.
These look like an interesting design, I'm a recumbent rider myself and love bents but I can see there's a niche for this sort of bike, would be interested to try.
i love LOVE LOOOOOVE how cyclists don't have to stop for stop signs....does this ever ANNOY people who actually use their CARS ON THE ROAD? not that i'm agains "share the road" just share it by OBEYING!
I agree. I bought the Cruz three months ago and commute to work everyday. It's a great design. I have had some minor knee pain, but I had it before and do not think it is attributable to the bike. The wrist, shoulder, and back pain I had with my old Mt. bike are virtually gone.
just running right thru stop signs, future darwin award winners.
