have you tried Broccomole Heather? the taste is very similar and no fat made from broccoli stems that usually get thrown away! Dr. McDouggal has a GREAT recipe for it!

@mommaplath You can try it with fried sweet potatoes. Good stuff!

Thanks guys!
@ShaunieceCooks - I am going to go check that out, and even though they have a lot of fat it is the best way to get the fat you need in your diet, and it is the form of fat that your body needs! just don't overdo it, and you're fine...

how often can you eat guacamole
0110tasha 1 year ago
@0110tasha how often... well, like anything you don't want to overdo it and get a variety of other foods. I don't know that I can give you a rule on how often, but just make sure you keep in balance with your overall diet

On my computer, the video terminally stops at 7:07, so I don't know what other ingredients you add to the mixture. One ingredient I have enjoyed adding to the avocado: ground flax seed (as well as lemon juice, which I imagine is part and parcel of your recipe).

@pdk2468 That's pretty annoying... anyway, the recipes is posted on my site, which is healthy vegan recipes dot net, and if you scroll to the bottom you'll find a link to the sitemap which will list all of my recipes including this one. Flax is a great addition to guacamole, that I haven't tried, but you're right there's definitely lemon juice in there! Sometimes I sub lime juice for a change. Enjoy! :)

Did you eat this with a chip? If so what kind?
mommaplath 1 year ago
@mommaplath I eat guacamole with a whole bunch of different things, but this time specifically I had it with sliced cucumbers - kinda like a chip, but I like light things in the summer. Phil likes to slice a whole wheat pita or sprouted grain wrap into triangles, brush with a bit of olive oil and sprinkle with herbs and then toast them. If there are leftovers the next day, I will often spread some into a wrap, sandwich, or on a rice cake with some sliced tomatoes and sprouts.
