What is Chand? The answer is "Moon" But in this song the word is "Rango Chhando" means various colors and "chhand" is a kind of poem. In the song it says that "you are so beautifull that how can someone discribe you in any kind of color or "chhand" (Poem).

You did mistake in Lyrics...
Ek Jaan Hai Tu Jeene Ke Liye is right but you sang Jaam Hai Tu Peene ke liye...
And
Kirnon Ka Tej Hai Chehre Pe but you sang Kirano Sa Tej Hai Chehre Pe
Apart from this you sang well

I think your rendition is the best, may be people did not notice or I may not be aware I kept on thinking Chango rather than Chando, question for all who had glowing tribute to this singer to explain what is a Chand?
