@doubtsofshadow you're wrong about that I'm afraid. Noir means black, but it implies a dark, mysterious feeling. Not literally black and white.

Honestly I preferred the first one. I mean, technically Batman is film noir. It doesn't have to be black and white to work as film noir. For me it's more in creating the hard shadows and concealing things, something done far better in the first film.
