@zLOSTNOMOREz Yeah the 455 was and still is a badass engine and I am a chevy guy. I would like to see a 71 chevelle 454 vs a 442 cutlass with the 455 that would be a good race.

@sciowapker the 455 has 250- 270 lbs/ft more torque than an LT1 stock to stock. Thats a huge difference. The small block V8 will be able to hit higher RPM so you can get higher paper HP out of a tuned LT1 but low to midrange torque is what gets you up to speed not peak hp at red-line. both good engines for what they are. Just an fyi

I drove a 78 Cutlass with a Buick GS 455 mild cam for a while and it ate up about everything I raced. It had stock exhaust manifolds with true duals and 2.29 gears. Nice and high.

it's a 455 and at the time of the vid the car only had 2.73 gears out back now it has 3.73's
