I first saw Pale Fountains supporting Orange Juice at Pickwick's in Liverpool in 1981. Bought this albumwhen it came out in 1984. Brilliant album, should have made them stars.

Im massively into Soul/Tamla/Motwn and Northern Soul have been since the early 70s, I was given Pacific Street back in 83 and thought maybe not for me... but you gotta have ears for all...and now , it is in my top 3 albums of all time,,,.Absolute pure Magic

that is so true..i'd read that article as well. they also mentioned that they were influenced by the fab four.
have you ever heard "pinoy ako" ng orange and lemon.
its so similar sa "Chandeliers" ng The Care.. check that out.
