Vega$ Series Three Opening

Vega$ was the longest-running series of Robert Urich's TWENTY THREE!!! If he had lived, I have no doubt the total would be well over thirty by now. Why this show did not run twice as long is a mystery. The locale was ripe for naturally lurid stories of strangers and citizens crossing paths in a town that never sleeps and everyone looks hot. Unless you're a bad guy. They never look hot. Just creepy. There were alot of creeps in this show. But with Phyllis Davis around, there was always more than enough hot to make up for it!!!

Why can't TV Land start to show classic's like this? I have had enough of Roseanne, Everybody loves Raymond, The Nanny..Besides I can see these show's on my local station's!

@diapertommy Probably because the sad fact is that unless it's on Spike or the Outdoor Channel, everything else is for women. Even Soapnet is not feminine enough and they are replacing it next year!

@us71 Yes. The first season was issued recently looking great and seems to be intact. Now if only they would be kind enough to announce the second and third series release dates.

I liked Phyllis with long dark hair like the early 70's. She looked good blonde too.

What a shame Vegas is so ugly now, back then all the great old casinos were still there. The new Vegas is an ugly Gaudy Mess! Looks like an overdone amusement park.

I agree, Vega$ should have lasted at least 5 seasons. I blame it on Dean Martin. I think he's the one who made Phyllis cut her hair short and dye it black.
