What you suggest is not a solution, but just restarting the same problem system.
Any system built on differential advantage is doomed to fail; that is to say, any monetary system.
Only through the intelligent management of resources will we ever know world peace. Encouraging yet another system of scarcity is counter productive to our survival as a species.

YES! but the reality is this monaterist economy has crashed! We need a FDR type recovery now! This time will be more difficult b/c we do not have the ability to produce like we did then. The only way of this crisis is a reorganization of the entire system. We start with the banks, take down the FED, put a national bank in its place and audit all other existing. Get rid of the speculative s*** and instiute a credit system. W/ a credit system we can begin to recoverwith a CCC program
-
Hahahaha... Why are they so scared of a health care system that cares for everyone? XD

When the economy totally crashes I suggest that we switch to a resources-based economy instead of this money based system which is doomed to fail every time and with that failure it will only effect us and the world in a negative way.

if you substitute "the government" for "insurance company" in your statement you will see where we are coming from.
-
we should let the crazy stupid people have their way, so they listen to their insurance company tell them to fly a kite when they get cancer and die. I can't believe these people actually want to throw their money to people that don't care about them.....fuck them if they're to stupid...they get what they deserve for being complete tools

I am pro healthcare for the intelligent. I acknowledge that the most basic of things we fought for as dictated in our Declaration of Independence was LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Republicans can just go ahead and die, if they feel so strongly about it, I have no qualms with that. Especially the ones who actually believe the plan will kill seniors. Think about this: the most advertised pro-health reform ad on TV was paid for by the AARP. Do you really think THEY want to die?
-
The 85% of the nation that approves of their healthcare includes all those on Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, the VA, TriCare, and COBRA. In fact, many of the protesters against healthcare at the protest (I was there) were seniors, and when I asked them if they had Medicare, they said they did. I assume they are happy with their government-run healthcare, since they were protesting to retain the status quo.
I think that's hilarious.
I just love how Democrats like the person who posted this video has become so blind to the party and thinks they are any better. Grow up. Both parties have failed us. Most politicians are greedy, corrupt bastards who only works for their party. It doesn't matter if they have a D or an R by their name.

I didn't even vote for Obama ( or McCain ), so I don't know how that makes me a Democrat ( or a Republican ). I agree with you both parties failed us. I don't know how you could conclude that I am a Democrat when this video is clearly against government health care, including Obama's plan.

The ending of this video is an idiotic attempt to combined two issues that have nothing to do with each other. Shameful on your part.

I disagree, they have a lot to do with each other. We must ask ourselves - Do we have a compassionate and ethical government? I would say compassion and ethics are key the quality health care. After two illegal wars, torture, indefinite detentions, Katrina, and 9/11 first responders getting no health care - I think it is a fair question. I only touched on one aspect in the video due to time / editing constrains.
