The Pledge is to the country in which the children live. We should have an allegiance to our country. The Yes we can and Hope message is getting political and invades the rights of the parents who may not agree with the message. In short the video is an attempt to indoctrinate children. There is NO place for this in school.

I don't see how this is different from the pledge of allegiance or the national anthem. The only thing is that Obama is currently running for (re)election. If this song were about how great another president were, say George Washington or Abraham Lincoln, then nobody would be complaining. If anything this should show how ridiculous/scary nationalism/partriotism for any country/president really is.
