Bird's Mid-Air Switch Vs. Rockets; Game 1, 1981 NBA Finals:
"Called "the greatest play I've ever seen" by Red Auerbach, Larry Bird converted a remarkable shot in the fourth quarter of Boston's 98-95 victory. Following his own miss, Bird grabbed the rebound on the run with his right hand and while in midair, with his momentum about to take him behind the backboard and out of bounds, he switched the ball into his left hand and somehow scooped it into the hoop." - NBA.com

  • Thats intense man.

  • @Flipper79able No, I'm not a troll, or whatever y'all call em who run around to different videos and say the same thing, I'm actually a big fan of Larry Bird who can joke out of respect

  • @BrickGrease Yes, we've all seen Bill Murray say that in Space Jam or whatever that movie is...is that going to be repeated in all of Larry's videos? Please say no.

  • I've never seen it from that lower angle before. You can really tell how far behind the backboard the ball bounced. Truly incredible. How is this behind Jordan's hand switch?

  • @BIGEAWBREY5 I swear they use that quote in like half of these videos to take about a bunch of different players. But it really can only be applied to a very select few.

  • Larry and Magic were neck and neck as far as greatest players of their generation.

  • tfuck ? larry is black duuhhh

  • All you can say is wow

  • Larry's not white; Larry is clear
