  • @KevLancaster1 was?

  • I know one or two people in show biz and you know what they say about it! hotels! getting tired! travelling! hotels! tired!! missing family! what the media shows us is the their final product! well, we seem to get celebs now with no talent and too much money! so you could say they got it easy compared to the stars of the 70's

  • His points are SPOT ON!

  • Regular listeners to Just a Minute will remember Kenneth in full flow. Nicholas Parsons often allowed him to go on unchallenged for more than the required minute just because the man was absolutely fascinating to listen to. Where has all the knowledge gone these days? Everything on television is so choreographed, it is deadly dull and boring compared to this.

  • In the 60s we had a wonderful program hosted by Michale Parkinson! No we have Jeremy kyle and Steve Wilkos...... wow, have people gone down in their intellegence or is it just me?

  • Parky - what an ingnorant Yorkshire twat.

  • Thanks Parky, if only for saying to a guest that you wholeheartedly disagreed with what he said and told him so.

I could hear the moment that the lovely Kenneth Williams bubble went pop.

He has never been to Barnsley.

  • oh my a young Maggie smith, i forgot she wasn't always old 0_0

  • Ah old england, gone now forever but not forgotten.

  • Williams was dead right- the bastard unions destroyed the British car industry.

And I am in complete agreement that the moronic monkeys on the telly nowadays can't hold a candle, intellectually or professionally to the likes shown here.
