Fox News and the Republican power base were anxious to silence Ron Paul because he was too honest about the distribution of blame regarding the major issues facing the nation.Owning up to our own mistakes doesn't fly anymore. Claiming "we're always 100% right and they're always 100% wrong" is the only way to win a nomination, even more-so with Republicans. Credibility is determined by one's adherence to the truth- not one's adherence to what YOU believe. Fox News doesn't lack credibility because they are conservative. @bottleslingguy So many of the problems we have today are based in our country butting into other's business in past decades. While I don't support Paul anymore, so much of what he says is dead on. The FEAR thing repeatedly drummed into @HerrQuixota and other's heads bu Bush and company is working well. Of course we need to defend ourselves, especially now, but we need to start on a better path, too.
