The Maintenance of Way gang has arrived at Bayview Junction, and there is a lot of work to do. Noted for being one of the busiest rail corridors in Canada, Canadian National's Bayview Junction has undergone major changes in the last 10 years including an expansion from 2 to 3 tracks in late 2006. On November 18th 2011 a M.O.W gang began doing some necesarry track work including replacing rail and changing spikes. In this video a variery of M.O.W equipment is seen in action, from HiRail trucks to 'speeders'. In addition to the M.O.W action, VIA trains are seen passing through the Junction creating a lot of noise as they warn the crews of their approach.
A still photograph of this train can be seen on RailPictures.Net by LocalRailfan on the following link.

I pity the poor bloke who is tapping in the screws. His back must be killing him. We use concrete sleepers here in South Australia.
