Lush cover : "Breeze"

I'm a Lush fan, and owner of this 12-strings Gibson ES-335. Here's my "Breeze" rythm guitar cover (more or less Miki's part).

What an incredibly beautiful sound! Can you tell us your pedal set up?

No pedals here, actually, I used my dear old Boss SE-70 multi-effects instead. The guitar was plugged on the amp, the amp on the Boss which has two output jacks. The left output, sent to the amp, was taken by a mic, the other went straight on an old 4-tracks recorder used as a mixing desk.

En fait, j'accorde cette guitare à chaque fois que je m'en sers, donc si, la 9ème corde comme les autres devait être dans le ton, ça doit être l'effet tourbillonnant du chorus qui donne cette impression. De toute façons, je les ai toutes changées depuis, alors...

1:11 Absolutely haunting chord progression. The guitars are buried under layers of effects in the recording, so you can't distinguish them as well. However, after hearing what was underneath all that noise. Wow. Just wow. Of course, I'm not saying I'm against noise, but sometimes, especially with Lush, the production masked the true beauty the music.
