  • I played this song over and over and over again in the 70s. She has one helluva voice. LOVE the horns, too...big fan of Tower of Power...this is right up there! Going to see her in Grass Valley next Saturday the 7th. yeah!!

  • My sister and I used to play this album over and over...when it came out on CD I had to get it...she's fricken amazing !!!!

  • I agree w/cathi417..... east bay horns, I.E. Lydia, TOP, good music, I hate to dance....danced at everyone of Lydia's performance's

  • I played in the warm up band a couple times for Cold Blood in '72, I was 20 at the time and didn't even realize the greatness of this band

  • @MrBEB123 I saw Cold Blood live several times in 1974-1976, and I saw Janis live twice in 1969-1970 and Lydia blows Janis in the weeds! Janis had a lot of soul, but Lydia had soul to spare, and far more talent. Not to mention that, in her younger years, she was a lot easier on the eyes!
