Gambusia Affinis, commonly known as mosquito fish, are widely used for mosquito control; indoor and outdoor applications. Like in aquariums indoors, outside in drain ditches, retention ponds, etc... They are hearty breeders.

What you are looking at here are about Seventy (70) baby fish. Seventy fries that were born within the last 24 hours from 3 pregnant females. They overwinter well outside. I had a hard freeze last winter and I thought I was going to lose a bunch but I had very few casualties and they breed well inside as you can see. They're effective, they're low maintenance and they're a lot of fun to watch.
