Tom, you're the best!

I absolutely love this - I love the song - Tom's singing - his superb trombone sound and phrasing - I love everything about it. Nice band, and knockout trumpet too. Everytime I come back to this track it gets better and better - I can't take much more of this, chaps. There are plenty of good jazzers about, but Tom had that something extra that makes for a great player.

In the few short years that he played trombone--he started practicing on it latge in his brief life--Tom became a truly great trombonist! He sounds just beautiful here, both playing AND singing. Dig how he holds the last note of his vocal out until the very end; masterful phrasing! The band sounds just great, as well, "Good on ya," Stribo!

What a lovely song ! Great work ! I heard Tom Baker a few years ago in Germany . He played cornet then!!

I miss him ! I also love the trumpet sound on this video.
