  • Older home with brick to fill space? OK but anything elts...people please do some more research. I have found out that this stuff is AirKrete. A breathing, open cell, WATER based product that has to shed its water in order to dry. It could do damage if trapped in a wall cavity while waiting to dry.

  • This is not aircrete! It is Tripolymer foam.

If the foam is weighed for the proper persentage of water, there is no problem. The=is foam should only be used in horizontal wall cavities. No more than 6 inches thick.

  • don't think so buddy. The foam insulation is the best thing that happen to existing homes. It makes a very tight seal and protects the home from insects and mold. It's a great sound proof and provides an excellent R-Value. You are not making any sense telling the people that the walls will be damaged. You need to research yourself before giving out faust information.
