This is a video document showing how to seize an engine under the Cash for Clunkers program...After draining the engine oil the vehicle is filled with approximately two-three quarts of salt/water/silica mix. The vehicle is then started and ran till the engine seizes. Enjoy!

  • @beyond305 Was it really to get bad cars off the road or was it just to get the public to buy an american car. Since when does the USA's government give a single shit about the enviroment?

  • now you are ready to be muslim ass holl

  • How can you do this this to a perfectly good Olds Aurora, you GODLESS BASTARD!?!?

I wish, upon you and your family, that your children ALL get a 2.0 GPA or less until they're 18.

  • @beyond305 I'm leaning toward natural gas as the enviro friendly fuel of the future.

Most of the current fleet can be retrofitted and is the energy of choice if you have to haul stuff (and people). I've driven dual-fueled vehicles and was quite satisfied with the performance on either petrol or natural gas.

  • @maverickdallas100 I never thought about it from that perspective. That does make sense though. But still its better for the future once we get enough enviro friendly vehicles on the road

  • This should have rightfully been used as an opportunity to put a better vehicle in the hands of needy people who are actually driving worn-out, dangerous poor-running clunkers and can't afford better. Swap them for the REAL clunkers and put THEM out to pasture.

My dad and a close friend of mine need better vehicles and can't afford better. What they saw and heard about perfectly good vehicles being destroyed in this manner has hurt them BEYOND reproach!!! SHAME ON YOU, OBAMA!!!!

  • @beyond305 If I chose to replace my Ford Expedition right now, the replacement vehicle has ALREADY made a much larger impact on the environment than my vehicle will make over its remaining lifespan. That is just from the huge quantities of energy used and the resulting waste products and factory emissions incurred in just MANUFACTURING a vehicle!!!

  • @beyond305 That's the whole problem in the nutshell. It's run by your dearly beloved socialist GOVERNMENT!!! Pretty soon, if you and the rest of the "sheeple" don't take heed, the government is going to run EVERY aspect of YOUR life as well as the rest of us.

  • @beyond305 I believe the guy when he says he's getting 28 or better MPG on the highway. At 60 MPH that V-8 engine is turning a very relaxed 1500 RPM and not even breaking a sweat, because of the superior power-to-weight ratio in this car. A lot of four-cylinders can't do much better, some even do much worse. This is my personal experience driving a wide variety of vehicles privately and on the job.
