My 330xi has a coolant leak somewhere, and I had no idea how to access the hoses or reservoir, which is likely cracked. I wouldn't have known the fan nut was reverse threaded, or about the bleeder screw, and would have taken a while to figure out which was the tensioner pulley. I've rebuilt the cooling system on a Jeep, and a done a water pump on Dodge Aspen (in 1983), but these BMWs are a delicate.
Anyway, what I am getting at is to thank you for posting this. It will saved me hours and $.

@NeverDieKnight I had a leak on mine and couldn't see where it was coming from. In the end I took the plastic plate off under the engine and the radiator was bowed at the bottom. That's the leak. Got a new radiator off eBay and its good as new, no leaks.
