Damien: Omen II - the betrayal of Mark

Damien's cousin turns against him just because he happens to be born of a jackal.
Here, I attempt to question the very nature of betrayal, the black-and-white portrayal of good and evil which all too soon becomes hazy, distorted. Is evil still evil when it takes the persona of a cute little elephant? and when a baby deer betrays his brother, is he still on the side of morality?
