This song is about marijuana. The songwriter, Barry Devorzon, who owned Valient Records told me so. He had denied it for years. There's an interview with him at Alyce Faye dot com.

Slower...faster - makes no matter to me. These guys are GREAT! I can't believe they're not in the R&R Hall of Fame and yet people who can't even be construed as R&R have been inducted. Sad and makes the R&R Hall of Fame selection committee seem like pathetic thickees.
