Redfin Fishing - Spin fishing a large Redfin or English Perch

A large 37cm Redfin (English Perch) caught on a spinner bait lure. Filmed in Victoria near Tatura.

I was experimenting with different spinners and lures. I found the brown and gold new style spinner bait to get the best results when Redfin fishing, especially for the huge Reddies.

I caught 8, but was lucky enough to catch this (the biggest) on my camera. All were quite good size really, averaging around 33 cm.
I put this one back - catch and release style. I'd love to catch it again in a few years ;)

What is the biggest Redfin or English perch you have caught? Evidence would be good!

@fishinskatinchillin Thanks mate. I was pretty happy that was the one that got on when the camera was rolling. The spot is unfortunately on private property kinda near Tatura.

Ive been catching heaps of reddys around merrigum/kyabram atm all good eating size(30-40cm). I will start taking the video camera and putting them up here.
