Chandi Di Vaar 1

Chandi Di Vaar is composition of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This is known as Var of Durga in Hinduism.

But Guru Ji explained the war in his own words, giving proper justice to Brave Heroes (Giants) as they never feared Durga and ran away from the battlefield.

Without criticizing biased verson of Hindus, Guru Gobind Singh Ji put forward a well balanced Poetry of his own.

Lots of people confuses it with Durga's Var from Hindus Ancient Scriptures which is completely different than this composition of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

I love this poetry because it brings out the Bir Ras of a person, the main intention of Vaar( war epics) of Durga is to inspire courage, bravery, wisdom of fighting technique and the reality of the battle to those who are going to fight! Singh read this bani and went to defend their nation/community from tyrants
