TRU LOVED Star Nichelle Nichols Speaks on LGBT Civil Rights

Actress Nichelle Nichols speaks at a news conference, coordinated by the filmmakers of the new motion picture TRU LOVED, in honor of the more than 900 students at LAUSD's Miguel Contreras Learning Complex's School of Social Justice who participated in the National Day of Silence.


A public commendation from stars of the film and leaders in the LGBTQ civil rights movement was issued not only for their efforts around the Day of Silence, but their year-round commitment to the protection of all LGBTQ students and families.

She was there to basicly say that America is treating gays now as if they were African- Americans during the Star Trek TOS days and that it needs to be stoped. You don't fall in love with a gender.
