Britain is spending tens of billions waging the unjustified war in Afghanistan, with horrific costs in the deaths of thousands of Afghan civilians, and of soldiers sent to kill and be killed. This video, narrated by Tony Benn with music by Brian Eno, dramatically conveys the cost of wars which are opposed by most people in Britain. It ends with a call to join the Antiwar Mass Assembly in Trafalgar Square on 8 October: http://www.antiwarassembly.org

it is our lawful duty to occupy major cities, demonstrate non compliance and impede government officials, demand their arrest until the unlawful genocides have been stopped. THIS IS ACTUAL LAW. its called lawful rebellion

No that was Iraq. You clearly don't understand how geo-political economics works, especially with commodities like oil, you don't just 'buy' the oil, you control the oil fields and potentially untapped oil fields that can be bought by oil companies. The Afghan war is purely about global hegemony not oil, it's on the doorstep of Russia, Iran and Pakistan and has been contested since before the USSR marched in.

No, 40,000 Afghans have been killed as well as over 100 British soldiers. The point about the money is that it could be being used for our own economy rather than a bloody war with no end in sight. And I think the word you're looking for is 'unacceptable'.

If the war is over oil. Why didn't they just buy oil which would have cost a fraction of the price.

You know, money shouldn't matter. Nothing is worth as much as life.

As for civilian deaths, there wouldn't be as many if the Taliban didn't hide behind their own people. I feel awful about the civilian deaths, but this is war. More civilians died in WWII than actual soldiers. Should that have been a reason for the Allies to curl up into a little ball and run away from the threat?

all politicians who want to go to war against Iran like they did with Iraq, on false grounds, with G.W.Bush are working for AIPAC Zionists, for Israel, and not in the interest of american citizens !
