Fossils discovered in northern New Mexico show for the first time that dinosaurs and their non-dinosaur ancestors lived side by side for tens of millions of years, disproving the notion that dinosaurs rapidly replaced their supposedly outmoded predecessors. It's my understanding ,in layman's terms, that fossils are found sticking out of the surface because the tectonic plates buckle and raise the rocks up to the surface and those exposed rocks weather down exposing the fossils? Can you locate for me all the areas on earth that have this type of plate rising? And how far down would we have to dig , if tectonic plates didnt effect the land.
