Where you started the moulding at the door frame there was a 1/4 gap there. What was your plan for that? Oh I see its the door frame. Is it suppose to have a gap there for some fresh air?

@booger78654 it depends on the molding, most stores will have a specification on the price tag for the trim, if not, 16ga2" is common.

hey tim do you use the same nails for the shoe moulding that you use for the baseboard..also what gauge nails..16 or 18
