It amazes me that Obama-worshippers have so much faith in this man. He has proven nothing prior to office. He went back on a lot of campaign promises in only 6 or 8 months... I also don't understand why Obama-worshippers continually compare him to G.W. Bush, if Bush was "the worst president ever". That is like saying that you play sports better than the last picked kid on your gym class team, not saying much.

Obama has followed suit with Bush's policies so far. We still have the patriot act, and the department of homeland security. So Obama fans, explain how we are not at war, but Obama has double the troop levels in Afganistan? He did not bring our troops out of Iraq, he just stole W's line (almost word for word) about their "mission" and re-named them.

i think that because he opposed the war in the first place he is in a much more credible position to ask the neighboring gulf states as well as the broader international community to help bring a responsible end to the war. He does face great challenges and the possibility that Baghdad will become the next Beirut.
