Loyal viewer FelinePhysics was the first to nominate the final album from the Fish-era Marillion for my review. Now the question is whether the album is a vodka martini or a cup of cold sick. Watch on to find out, dear viewer...

  • Great review! Thanks for going over this one. Any chance of a follow-up review for Season's End, or is the Hogarth hate too strong? ;-)

  • @Runicen Heh - I appreciate both eras of the band, but have more of a fondness for the H-era, actually... My favourite albums being a toss up between Afraid of Sunlight & Marbles.

  • I know you like obscure progressive bands mostly from Italy , there is a progressive band from Central America called Alux Nahual Some people say they sound a little bit like Marillion.

  • @AldCastillo Ha! Yeah...

  • This was a good review, thanks. I would like to hear your thoughts on a Gentle Giant album. How about In'terview? See, there's an apostrophe in the name, it has to be goo'd.

  • have you reviewed a rainbow in curved air by terry riley yet? if not, you should.

  • Good review Darren. I'd give it a five Sugar Mice out of five Sugar Mice just because if maybe I'm confused or uncertain of the lyric I'd bypass that and go straight for the musical element which is very strong. Take care mate, cheers.

  • I love this album, interesting review. Always interesting to get someone else's take on music.

  • @vrooomuk I haven't heard AoS, but Marbles is a brilliant piece of work - dense, but brilliant.
