This sweet Christmas song shares the point of view of the Shepherds of Bethlehem, and of all those who desire to follow Jesus as a shepherd. Lyrics by Jaroslav Vajda and Music by Carl Schalk. All Illustrations have been used with permission, or are in common use domain.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful choir anthems written. Concordia University Chicago sang this in Lectures in Church music 2009, and I sang it again at church on Christmas Eve. Absolutely beautiful with sting accompanient or piano.
