what do you all think? Some have written that steroids were available to the bodybuilders even in the 1950's but Steve Reeves publicly said many times that he never took the juice and was against modern bodybuilders on steroids "because they all look like arnold schwarzenegger now"

I saw this film when it came out at the theater, Hercules was my hero, but when Reeves put on that costume it scared the hell out of me (I was five), I have and always will be a Reeves fan, the Steve Reeves International Socitey still exists and I am a member if you like Reeves check it out on the web.

I saw this movie as a kid when it first came out and found it a bit too lurid for my like. I was conditioned to see Steve Reeves as Hercules, not an avenger. So even as an eight year old I didn't like this movie. But good to see it again.
