  • Thats pretty cool. Now if the plane stops in mid air you can watch yourself in third person as you fall to your doom. Thats what I call good service!

  • so unfair..i flew etihad yesterday, flew in a 777 and 330, both cameras in the front just sucked! i couldnt see anything it was just all blurry..it was night flight..i wish they had a tail cam..

  • @Slap0ho - fyi, all modern planes are designed so even if at full speed and height all the engines stop the plane can still safely glide for over 100 miles and for 30 minutes - slowing down and lowering altitude gradually

  • 2:03 sorry... let me push that back in...

  • What agreat view of the takeoff. That thing looked like it was barely moving before it rotated.

  • @connecttokan - Black boxes (CVRs) and Data Recorders are still the primary information source for accident information. But who knows, this could provided information in the future to solve accidents.

  • i guess someone chose not to turn off all their electronic devices. lol

  • I've seen these takeoff in person, you wonder how these beasts can even fly. Technology and science are amazing.

  • one kuestion though, is this camera system implemented as a substitute for black boxes, u know since it could show more than flight records, or is it only for passengers' entertainment, just something to look at.

  • @Teddan123 because its a bit bumpy when the plane accelerates along the runway, idiot

  • @Teddan123
