Thanks for giving a nice idea with clear presentation; I tried everything as described. while bridging, i faced problem: a comment as "To create a network bridge, you must select at least two LAN or High speed connections that are not being used by internet connection sharing" appears. suggest what to do. Still in the 2nd laptop it detects the device. but while trying to open a site in the 2nd one, "INVALID SERVER NAME" appears. please suggest what to do. Thanks in advance -BABU.

What if I wanted to do the reverse? My Wifi is connected to the internet and I want to connect a desktop through ethernet to the laptop so I can give my Desktop internet. How would I do that?

@peppeworld on the second computer, ensure than you have the IPV4 and IPV6 as automatic.
