What Killed Knut the Polar Bear?

Many are mourning the death of four-year-old polar bear Knut, who died suddenly at the Berlin Zoo. Animal Expert John Downer joined Fox and Friends to weigh in on what might have caused the animal's death.

Maybe Knut died because the guy that took care of her was no longers there and she died because of s depression

@patoteto2 Yes very true, heartbroken, his beloved caregiver died, and emotionally very stressful and upsetting for Knut, missed him.

Knut died of heart break, as his beloved caregiver and friend died prior to him. They were very close. Bears get very attached to their people friends. The emotional sadness, was too much for him to handle, which would have comprimised his immune system so he had less strength to fight the virus which took hold of his body.
