Good point. Vast major of whites cannot see that and blacks should get angry when they don't. Black culture and people in America need to continue to redefine and improve ourselves and establish an covenant with ourselves. There been too much time spent on trying to get white people to like us and we need to a get away from us. I see in black politicians trying not to scare white folks so that they won't lose their votes. Blacks need to strengthen the self first and then work for the collective.

black on black crime is symptomatic of a people that four over 400 yrs. were oppressed and treated less than human. when you endure over four centuries of being told that you are worthless, it takes just as much time to work thru those feelings of feeling invisible. Worse yet, racism is woven into the very fabric of America. So many of its institutions perpetuate it daily without even realizing it. We are not ignorant people, never have been.
