wow, weve gotta help these poor people, im giving up talking, food, technology and furniture for 40 hours, have a look at my channel, a video there I made for the 40 hour famine that has made people cry. So far I have raised $200 in a day and a half.

Hey another post from the guy who put this up on the net:
I personally didn't make this movie, or even take part in the famine (sorry!) ... But like many kiwi's, I support the idea, and the effort taken by hundreds of concerned students, as well as many aid groups, to overcome the huge injustices and massive poverty within developing countries.

"Motivated by our faith in Jesus, we serve the poor as a demonstration of God's unconditional love for all people." this is the only part I do not get about this community. Why making a religious discrimination.
But o'well , as long as the aim is to help people in need , I really don't care about the rest.

Interesting comment. I'm personally not Christian, but I'm not sure about the "religious discrimination" phrase. I assume the quote is from the World Vision website? Surely it is just a statement to show motivation. If you were to say you played sport to get fit, would you be discriminating against other reasons to play the game?
