Avedon had access to world leaders and through his special technique, could show us powerful people with their public mask removed. Portraits of Power is showing through January 25, 2009 and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. We hear from the organizer, Paul Roth, curator of photography and the modern arts.
