  • If I come face-to-face with God after I die, I'll ask him to let me die like he said would happen to Adam and Eve. Only God is immortal, and that's the way it should be.

Immortality of any kind would be a curse in the end anyway. Even if it is spent in Heaven, there's still the issue of what to do when the eternal boredom kicks in.

  • @Isaac0711 Do you know what killed Hitler? Natural selection. If you piss enough people off they will kill you.

If Hitler knew anything about natural selection he wouldn't have done what he did. Here is what happen. They were to afraid to accept the way things were going so they blamed it on someone else.

  • @kpetals Nature includes all of time.

A cause must come before the effect.

Therefore time can't have a cause.

There was never a time when nature didn't exist (see above).

Therefore God couldn't have created nature.

Saying god did it is just as redicious as say the pink unicorn did it.

    Stop being a prick.

  • @fordmike What happens if it's another god? And what if this god doesn't like sheople? What are you going to do then?

And most importently why would the creator of the universe care?

  • Yes, I know. They were deist.

  • they weren't atheists either.

  • In other words they weren't christians.

  • yes, I know. A Deist is somebody who believes in God, but not in organized religion, such as churches.

  • Sorry, Abraham was a deist an so was Benjamin Frankin

  • Catholics are Christians.

Abraham Lincoln was a christian too, but he just never joined a formal church. He was private about his beliefs, and respected the beliefs of others. Atheists should learn something from him!

Benjamin Franklin also believed in God, but he hated the Church.

  • I thought Catholic was a type of Christian.

The use of "Christ" in the name had led me to believe that Christians were anyone that believed in Jesus Christ. Add in that one of the few things that I know about western religions is that Catholics also believe in Jesus Christ, and the mistaken assumption that "all Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholics" seems rather easy to make.
