Weber State University (WSU) - Automotive Technology Department - Transmission Lab. General Motors Hydra-Matic 6T70 / 6T75 6-Speed Automatic Transaxle Power flow. This transaxle design was developed in a joint venture with Ford and is used by Ford as a 6F50/6F55 transaxle. This tansaxle is typically used in 2007 and newer full size Chevrolet, Buick, Saturn, and Cadillac passenger cars. This transmission uses three simple planetary gear sets to achieve six forward gears and reverse.

This video helps demonstrate NATEF Task A2.C.10. " Diagnose transmission/transaxle gear reduction/multiplication concerns using driving, driven, and held member (power flow) principles.", a priority 2 task.
